Pamela Adlon is an Emmy® and Peabody Award-winning creator, actor, writer, producer, and director. A show business veteran for over 40 years, she brings an essential and distinct voice to Hollywood – ranging from iconic acting roles such as Bobby Hill on King of the Hill, to her creation of the critically-acclaimed FX comedy series Better Things, which recently wrapped after five seasons, a show she directed, wrote, and starred in.

Better Things showcased Pamela’s singular insights and unapologetic, elevated commentary on motherhood, feminism, and the complexity of modern life. The series marked her seismic shift from acting into directing, writing, producing, and more, all at the highest level of her craft. She has further expanded her directing career into the commercial realm, directing a six spot ad campaign for leading period brand Thinx, which relied on her comedy chops, and incredible ability to direct talent.

In addition to her extensive screen work both in front of and behind the camera, Pamela also leads her own all-female television production company, Slam Book Inc., where she currently oversees more than a dozen handpicked projects in development. She has been vocal in her support of women and other under-represented groups, elevating their voices and stories through Slam Book.
