Jackie van Beek

With a background in improv, comedy theatre and short filmmaking, Jackie premiered her first feature The Inland Road in competition at the 2017 Berlin Film Festival. She went on to co-write, direct and star in The Breaker Upperers which premiered to rave reviews at SXSW and sold globally to Netflix.

She has directed on television series – Wellington Paranormal (TVNZ), What We Do In The Shadows (FX) and Time Bandits (Apple) and recently co-created and served as the set up director forThe Office Australia (Amazon/BBC).

Jackie moved into advertising a few years ago excited by returning to short form storytelling. She loves to collaborate with creative teams and delights in working with a wide range of talent – from non actors to celebrities.
